Hi
Using SQL Server 2000 SP3 client tools on Win2k Pro SP4. When I use EM and look at Current Activity/Process Info the Login Time and Last Batch columns are displayed as three squares followed by the time. I have recently installed SQL Server 2005 CTP (April) - could this be the cause?

It could be. Have you uninstalled other CTPs and reinstalled this one? I saw a thread somewhere on the Beta newsgroupw or Blogs about the fact that some COM components are unregistered when you uninstall 2005.

Hi Steve. This was the first CTP I'd installed on this machine (or anywhere else, for that matter), although I did have to try installing it several times, so it may have uninstalled and reinstalled some components, but they were all from the same version.

Hello, we discussed it yesterday too. It looks like 2005 Client tools do not show dates correctly There was somewhat similar problem. See discussion topic on this Administration forum
