Datetime problem

    Hi All,

    I am new to reporting service and this is my first post in this forum.

    I am trying to create a report in Reporting Services 2005. There are two parameters which is StartDate and EndDate. What I found is, every time I set a date, for example from 1/12/2010 to 31/12/2010 (I want it as dd/mm/yyyy as I am in Australia), it changed to 12/1/2010 and give an error.

    I have checked the region setting it is Australia.

    How can I fix this problem?

    There may be a settings or config way to do this, but since I am in the US I am not challenged by this problem. Although I do see a lot of forum posts with similar date problems.

    What I would probably do is make your parameter a text field to allow entry in the locally correct date format. Then use a sql function, or some script to manipulate the parameter input to what you need to run the query properly.
