DBCC DBREINDEX failure question

    If you are running DBCC DBREINDEX on all tables and one index in the middle fails due to a deadlock are the indexes before and after the index that failed rebuilt?

    I can't answer your question for you and without looking it up I'd just be taking a best guess. What I can tell you though is DBCC DBREINDEX is going to be removed in future versions of SQL Server. You should be using ALTER INDEX instead.

    Unless you ran them in an explicit transaction, the ones before would have been rebuild, the ones after not.
