default temproary tables in SQL Server

  • Hi,

Few days back somebody asked me what are the default temproray tables in SQL server 2000 which gets created and destroyed dynamically or something like this? Is the question right or wrong? I'm asking this because I have no clue on this thing.can anybody tell me more about this.

  • Since your question is not very specific, as a starter you might want to read BOL for CREATE TABLE. There is a whole chapter on temporary tables.

  • You also may want to look up the "Inserted" and "Deleted" tables in BOL.

    I wasn't born stupid - I had to study.
