delete DTS Package

    Hi,

    Is there any option to delete DTS Package using VB Application?

    Sajan,

    You could look at sp_drop_dtspackage in msdb.  Remember that only the package owner or a member of sysadmin can drop a package.

    Thanks for your reply, But I have some doubts. please help me to clarify these things

    Am creating the DTS package through a VB Application using the Structured Storage File.  Am giving this program to clients. I have no access to their machine.  So how can I get the Unique Id and Version Id of that DTS Package? With out that I can't use the sp_drop_dtspackage.

    If the package will reside on the client's machine that you can't access, I can't think how you will be able to find the package let alone delete it.
