We have transactional replication with updatable subscriptions setup on a production box with mirroring. We are setting up a dev box and I backed up and restored the database I want to test onto the dev box. Since the database tables (the articles) were already part of replication on the prod box and have the identity columns setup as part of the publication, what do I need to do to now setup replication on the dev box to dev 2 so I can as closely reproduce production as possible? When I go to setup replication on the dev box now, it says that it will be creating an identity column on the tables but I don't necessarily want it to have two identity columns since prod had already added one, or am I missing something.
