Drop column in SQL 6.5?

    How do you drop a column in 6.5? 7.0 and 2000 is easy - alter table tttt drop column cccc. Doesn't work w/6.5?

    Yeah - good enhancement in SQL 7, no? To the best of my knowledge, the only way in 6.5 was to copy the data to a new structure without the useless column, drop the old table and rename the new table. I found it easier to just remove the data and ignore the column
