dts excel --> mssql

    i have a excel-file (it is generated with dts) and now i will import these file on a other sql-server. in the dts-import wizard it shows me all tables twice, once with a '$' at the end and once it is right. why?

    i think when you imported the file dts created a temp file as a back-up for you original file as other do create a temp file,if not try opening the other file if it is a like the original one.
