DTS not Opening in XP

    One of the DTS which is created in the Windows2000

    it is not opening in the WinXP environment

    while opening it is giving

    Error Source : Microsoft Data Trasformation (DTS) Package

    Error Description : Unspecified Error

    in that DTS Package FTP Components is used through it is uplodaing the file.

    Hi Bimal,

    The DTS Packages look for the associated dll 's in the local system so I believe the dll's associated with FTP components may be missing.To work around do register the required dll's in XP

    Hi,

    Even i am facing the same problem. However my situation is little bit different. Here we can open the DTS package at offshore. However our guys at onsite are not able to open the package. Both of us are using XP machines. and same version of services packs being installed. Could any of you please guide us on this.
