  Hi Phill,

  'A setting of 1000 will mean you will process 1000 rows at a time in the datapump'.

  But i saw DTS package moves 1000 rows at a time from sybase to sqlserver. even i didn't change 'FetchBuffer Size' to 1000.

  Can you list out all the possible ways to optimize DTS package ?

  Are you using SSIS, as it is in SQL Server 2005?
