DTS Step Status

    Does anyone know if the status of a DTS Step is available in a variable after a step completes? When you run DTS interactively, the dialog box that pops up has a status column. This is the information that I would

    like to retrieve and evaluate in an ActiveX script task.

    The only way that I can think of doing that is by setting a global variable WITHIN THE STEP with the status. That would mean that you would have to use ActiveX scripts in any task that you want to gather the status from.

    Hopefully someone else can think of a better way.
