Ememory, Timeout, and Process Lock error on the rise

  • My customer installed Business Object 6.5 and since them we get memory errors, timeouts, and process locked errors.  Any idea what is going on or what we should adjust.

  • I haven't heard of anything specific try watching under profiler to see where and when it is occurring.

  • For one of the client we had business objects 5.1.7 and Web Intelligence 2.7.4 as well as SQL Server 7.0 SP4+hotfixes (7.00.1063) installed on the same server (HP Blade Server). We never had similar issues.

  • We hand SQL Server 2000 EM and the BO version is 6.5

    We found the ODBC versions out of sync between servers.  We were wondering if not much space on the i/o subsystem could be causing lengthy delays(I/O Latency).  What do you think?
