Error Editing View

    I have a view that I'm trying to edit. The view has been on this server for a long time and I'm logged in as SA. When I try to save my edits, I got a message that says:

    "There is already an object named 'FHIncidents' in the database."

    When I press OK, then then gives me "User canceled out of save dialog"

    So, I'm not understanding why the view works fine, but it won't allow me to save it, if modified. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!!!

    One of the problems of using the GUI is that it throws up unexpected things like this. Try scripting the view out and editing the actual T-SQL.

    Thanks for the reply. I've tried scripting it and after 20 minutes of waiting, I stoped it. So, I created a new view and called it the same name, but added an _1, which everything is working fine in it. Now, I'm trying to drop the current view and getting an error with that as well. It will not allow me to do anything to that view.

    Nevermind, I got it. Somebody else had the view open, so once they closed it out, everything worked fine.
