execute sql task and variable

    Hi,

    I have an execute sql task, which inserts some fields from one table to another.

    i have the filename as user variable(which gets set with script). would i be able to enter this into the table. if so can you guide me please

    yes make it a stored procedure and pass the file name as parameter

    since the value is available in stored proc you should be able to do whatever you want to
