fail connect to SQL Server 2005 from windows 98

    Hai,

    i am just try to upgrade databse from SQL Server 7 from SQL Server 2005,

    everything is oke, but when try to connect from application on client

    which using windows 98 it is fail.

    the application is using delphi5 and zeos connection.

     

    anyone can help ?

    You have to install SQL Server Client on Windows 98. I know I had to install clients on NT4 computers. We normally don't have to install OLEDB and oDBC clients on Windows 2000 and Windows XP computers.

    i already try to install sql server 200 client on PC windows 98 and it works
