I am trying to get the full-text indexing to start on a database and what ever I do I get :

Execution of a full-text operation failed. The parameter is incorrect.

OK

ANy one see this before?

Have you enabled full-text indexing for the database?

That is the problem. I have tried and I just get the same error.

okay sorry,
what account are you running sql under?
Full text search in SQL Server will only work if SQL Server is running in the System account

The SQLServer is running on a DOMAIN Account.

I am wondering is if a restore to tis server from another server would have stepped on it. If so should I un-install full-text indexing or something.
