    Hi,

    I have installed the windows patch to the Server from that time mail profile is not working and I am getting the following error.

    get the default MAPI Message Store due to MAPI error 273: The information

    and the Outlook is not responding...

     

    Please let me know the solution..

    You will see the error if SQLAgent started when exchange server was down. The reason is as follows:

    SQL Server Agent validates the mail profile with Exchange Server when it starts. Since the Exchange server was not running when SQL Server Agent was started, it validation couldn't be complete and hence it doesn't work.

    Are you having similar situation?
