Can anyone tell me whether there are any bad "no no's" in upgrading to SQL 2000 from 7. And whether there are any extra proceedures i should take before doing so ?
The only major issue I ran into was were do to the fact some implicit datatype conversions that worked in SQL 7 no longer happen in SQL 2000. But for the most part I am adament about doing explicit conversions to avoid this in future circumstances.
