group data and Row visibility

    Hi All,

    i want little help from you guys.

    i create one report for some sampling rate analysis for no. of vehicles.

    Please see the attached print shot for ease.

    what i want to do here, is to Toggle my group.

    the row marked in RED should be visible at report startup and then we may click(Expand) on Group(Depot Name) so, it should reflect relevent information.

    I tried with Row visibility myself but i cant make it, i may be putting it on wrong column or cell.

    can you guys help me out here

    Hi fawwad,

    Below the report designer, you will see Row Group section.

    There in the table group properties, make sure you have selected grouping on whatever field you required. Then below it, you will see table detail group, go to its properties and set below options -

    In visibility -> When the report is initially run - Make it Hide.

    and Check the display can be toggled by this report ITEM option and selected the column name on which you have done grouping.

    I hope this will give you the desired output.. 🙂
