Is there some sort of formula out there I can use to calculate how much an access database will take up on SQL before doing an upsize
Thanks,

Due to the fact there are no forms it is generally smaller. As it depedns a lot on the objects in your access DB such as Queries, Forms, Reports and Macro/VBA code there is no simple calc you can use.

Shouldn't be that much different, but keep in mind you want to pre-allocate the sql space, so you might make it larger for that reason.

I'd agree it will probably be smaller. I think Access is limited to 2g, so setting the initial size shouldnt be a big deal, and easy enough to change if needed.
