  Hi all,

  does anyone know any blog entries describing the installation of a named instance of MSSQL 2008 R2 failover cluster besides an existing MSSQL 2008 R2 cluster (default instance) on to a Windows 2008 R2 cluster ?

  Start with clustere installation,it will require new IP and cluster name nothing else DTC and Qurum should be same as Old one

  Accessible as

  CLUSTER IP\NAMED INSTANCE

  CLUSTER NAME\NAMED INSTANCE

  Remotely Access

  CLUSTER IP\NAMED INSTANCE,PORT

  CLUSTER NAME\NAMED INSTANCE,PORT
