how to copy the backup file from one machine to another

  hi all,

  we two datacenters both are in different countries.before configuring the database mirroring backup of the principal should restore to secondary...in this case how can i copy the backup file from one server to another.

  Anjali,

  How big the backup file is? If you can access both the servers, then you can manually copy the backup file (provided all access is there).

  Else you can send the backup file through Tape, and asked the admins to restore it for you.
