How to run DTS Packages from Query Analyzer

    HI ,

    You can run that by using xp_cmdShell

    First Save the DTS as a storage file on the drive , here i have saved it on the D drive.if you have saved that on the server then you need to give full name just like here otherwise just give the drive name and run that .

    Exec  Master..xp_cmdShell 'dtsrun /F\\servername\D\Import.dts'

    Thanx for your kind support this has helped me a lot. But still i am new to this environment. Pls can u show me an example how to create DTS Packages and how to save it and run in Query Analyzer. I know from Enterprise Manager we can do it.
