I could not save the maintenance plan in 2005

    Hi All,

    I created a maintenance plan in SQL Server 2005 to with rebuild index task When I click on save buttion I am getting the below Error Message.

    Invalid access to memory location, (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800703E6)

    I am not sure about the error what I am getting, below is the my server details

    select serverproperty('productlevel') --> SP2

    select serverproperty('productversion') -- 9.00.3073.00

    SELECT @@VERSION

    something to try:

    Try from a diff client or Try logging/remoting onto the server itself and then try again:

    I hope you know what i am talking about.

    EDIT: is you server under any kind of replication?

    Hey

    I tried to create a maintenance plan through Maintenence plan wizard and it got saved.

    I would like to know why I could not create a maintenace plan through

    right click on Maintenanceplan --> New Maintenance Plan..

    some kind of component or dll failure to load or something..

    try updating to SP3...
