I need sources for ASP 3.0 and SQL Server tutorial

  • I am about to start a website project and I will be using ASP 3.0 and SQL Server. Does anyone have any sites/books that they recommend for this combination?

    Thanks!

as for ASP 3.0 i would suggest a search google. Returns dozens of entries including o'Reilly and amazon...

As for SQL Server why not look at Products -> Books here on this site?

    Cheers,

Cheers,CrispinI can't die, there are too many people who still have to meet me!It's not a bug, SQL just misunderstood me!

  • Great resource is http://www.aspin.com/

  • tek-tips.com

    asp101.com

    4guysfromrolla.com

    devguru.com

    learnasp.com

I use all of these plus googlegroups and this forum, of course!!

  • Another great SQL Server site is

    http://sqlteam.com/

A Microsoft newsgroup, http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=SQL is also available.

Books include Ken Henderson's "Guru" series and Joe Celko's "SQL For Smarties".

Pinnacle Publishing (www.pinnacle.com) offers a free 6-month trial of their monthly newsletters.

    Best of luck.

  • aspfaq.com, among many others already noted.

If beginning, wrox book about asp 3.0 is ok.

    Have fun...

I have seen many references to Joe Celko, but before buying I like to get some comments on it. Have you (or someone else) read this book?

    Cheers,

    Frank
