import into identity column

    Am trying to use the Import Data wizard in Mgt Studio to get data from a local 2005 database into a remotely hosted 2005 database. Hit issue with importing into an identity column and understand that way round this is to use a 'keep identity' qualifier - but have no idea how to do this using the wizard.

    In the Wizard, when you are specifying the mapping between tables from the Source to the Destination, click on Edit and check the check-box that says "Enable Identity Insert".
