    Then the foramtting won't get screwed up in the edits.

    Some times I use the design mode which then screws up the layout.

    Is there no way apart from reformatting manually then?

    That's an understatement. I've been using the format option to sort out the mess of code that I'm trying to optimise. Otherwise it would take me days to just get the procedures to a readable state.

    Feel free to promote that product any time. Like Gail, it's saved my bacon when everyone is breathing down my neck to fix some procedure that was basically unreadable to start with.
