Job failed but not in Sysjobschedules

  • Over the weekend a job ran but it failed. I know I didn't schedule it and all my coworkers also said that they did not schedule it. I looked at sysjobhistory it says it was "...invoked by Schedule 117..." but I looked at Sysjobschedules and I cannot find schedule_id=117 !!!

If I understood correctly, when a job has a schedule_id (in Sysjobschedules) it means that job was scheduled ? but then why my job was not in the Sysjobschedules ? Is there something wrong with my SQL Server ?

    Please help. Thanks in advance.

FYI, we are running Windows 2000 Adv Server sp4 and SQL Server 2000 sp3.

  • what date in sysjobhistory? There can be record but if there is not in Sysjobschedules - looks like somebody 'edited' the job
