Does the account needs sysadmin role for taking backup using Lite Speed in SQL Server. We are getting VDI errors when we remove sysadmin for the account taking backups.
Yes, because litespeed is a third party component and use Microsoft VDI interface to perform tasks, so you need sysadmin permissions for taking backup using litespeed
