hi guys, is it possible to have logshipping from a primary server being sql 2008 and secondary sql 2008 r2 sp2. I tried to do it, but the restore in standby does not complete.
you would have to do the restores in norecovery mode. As soon as you failed over and bought the secondary online the databases would get upgraded. You would then not be able to fail back as the primary would be at a lower version.
