    Peimary server Version: Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (RTM) - 13.0.1601.5 (X64) Apr 29 2016 23:23:58 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition (64-bit) on Windows Server 2016 Standard 6.3 <X64> (Build 14393: ) (Hypervisor)

    We are building log shipping secondary server,   can we use the same sqlserver2016 setup files to install the SQL server in secondary server? with the same license key ?.

    That depends on your licensing and license agreements. You should talk to whoever your contact is for the licensing.
    You do get some of these types of things with licenses as well as other benefits if you are using Software Assurance. But it is expensive.

    Single database?  Have you considered using a basic availability group rather than logshipping?

    One more thing - patch that server.  There've been two service packs including some heavy duty security fixes since SQL2016 went RTM.

    Often times no but you need to check with your contact for your license as no one on a forum can tell you for sure.
    You usually can on software assurance but starting with SQL Server 2014 they changed a lot around the passive nodes/standby nodes and those needing to be licensed.
