Lost data drive on 2005 Cluster - How do I get the instance up to do a restore?

  • At least this is in our QA environment, we were testing the migration of data to a New SAN and lost the data drive holding the DB. I've replaced the drive but need to start over. Has anyone ever successfully used a command line to re-create the system databases in a cluster. I've had problems with uninstall / re-install with virtual server names not removed and a pain to pull out of the registery.

    Configuration:

    OS = win2003 enterprise 64bit

    SQL= 2005 64bit SP3

    Local drives c: d:

    SAN drives L: (logs) R: (SQLData)
