Maintainance plan failing

    Hi,

    I have scheulded a maintainance plan in sql server 2005 enterprise edition to copy data

    but the job is failing due to the error "Executed as user: The package execution failed. The step failed."

    everything is correct dont know y its failing.

    my sql version is 9.0.1399 with sp2

    pls help

    Under what account is SQL Server agent running? Does this account have permission to execute this job?

    Where are you copying the data to/from? Does the SQL Server Agent account have rights to those folders?
