Maintenance Plan modify failure

    Hello,

    I have a 64B SQL Server 2005 cluster on Windows 2008 R2.

    In this morning, the production node has failed. Now, all the activity is on the B node, but when I'm trying to modify the maintenance plans, the following error occurs:

    This maintenance plan has been modified using a tool other than the maintenance plan designer. You must use SQL Server Integration Services to modify this maintenance plan from now on. (ObjectExplorer)

    On the A node I have never had this problem.

    I've looked a little bit on the internet but what I've found is related on a smaller version of the sql server. Mine is 9.00.4035.00(X64)

    Hello again,

    Today...I realized that on the node with problems, the sql server version was 9.00.1399.00 (RTM) and on the other node was the sp3 version (9.00.4035.00)

    I've applied the SP3 version and now everything is working ok.

    So, that was the problem.
