Maintenance Plan Not Updating

  SQL Server 2000, in the maintenance plan Integrity tab, there is an option for "Perform these tests before backing up the database or transaction log." For existing plans, I cannot check or uncheck the box and have that action saved. If I uncheck the box and apply, the check comes back immediately and the job is not actually updated. Is there any way to fix this? Should I just go directly to the job and remove the BkUpOnlyIfClean and CkDB command line parameters?

  I've seen this before and the only way I know is to re-create the plan.
