Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant

    Hi

    Is there somebody who already used the Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant to migrate Oracle database to Sql server ?

    Did you experience some problems ?

    Do you find it usefull ?

    I 'm evaluating it , but I have some problems .

    I believe I once tried using DTS to do this and the results were terrible.  Microsoft totally messed up the datatypes.

    I have not tried the Migration Assistant.

    One suggestion, if you run into problems, generate the schema first and then transfer the data, it is a lot easier this way.

    I tried the sql server Migration assistant and I have got good results , it is an easy way to transfer data and also stored procedure.
