Guys,
We have 3 servers with 2 enterprize edition and 1 developer edition and I need some clarification on database mirroring.
1) Can I setup a witness server on developer edition (the sever is used for development purpose)
2) Will this create a licensing issues because we are using developer edition as witness for production server.
I do recollect reading we need same edition for database mirroring but was not sure if developer edition can act as enterprize edition.
No guess work please. Response if you are 100% sure (reference will be great).
