MSVCR71.dll prolem

    As i click query analyzer short cut, following error message is generated

    "This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem"

    I have reinstalled the SQL Server after uninstall but problem still exists and also same error message was generated during installation.

    please help me to sort out the problem.

    Which version of SQL Server and Sp have u installed??

    i have sql server 2000 with SP4, it was working fine but after uninstallation of antivirus the problem occurred. Now i want to recover the problem.
