Need to give permission to a user or group on a particular SQL Agent Job

    Hi,

    I am not sure if its possible of not but as per my requirement i need to give permission to a group on a SQL Agent job so that they then run it / stop it / disable it/ enable it.

    But that group must not be granted permission on other jobs on that server.

    You can give the ownership of the job to a specific person. That will allow SA to still see/use it but that person as well will be able to control it.

    However, you can't give ownership to a group. I don't know why, you just can't.

    Thanks Craig for reply but it doent meet my requirement i have couple of users in one group which require permission on a particular job to stop/disable/start and enable this job.
