    The table name is "people" not "foo".  The query will give an error for an invalid object name 'foo'.  The correct answer should be D.

    No. The correct answer is NOT D. It's not a SYNTAX error. If anything it would be an 'Invalid Object' error, which was not an option.

    If you had posted in the proper thread, you would see this has already been discussed way too much. And Steve Jones is giving everyone credit for answer d even though there's no way that could be right.

    The proper thread for this is the one for Question of the Day for 14 Oct 2004.
