Once job not showing in Job History

    Last night we ran a job and it completed successfully, but job history does not show it, however, when I click "Show step details" it does show steps ran successfully. Have you guys see anything like this ? Currently we are running SQL Server 2000 SP4.

    Are you sure the job has ended. I have seen this when a job is still executing that the last success will not show until you show steps. Make sure all the steps are there and that this isn't job isn't set to run in a circle or stuck at a point.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes. I'm sure the job ended. Fortunately, it was just one incidence. I'll keep my eyes on it. Thanks again.
