Optimizations and Integrity check jobs failing

  • Hi All,

I have a maintenance plan for optimization and integrity check of databases. The jobs assigned for these two tasks are failing sometimes. I am getting the following error message:

[Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLSTATE: HY000)] Error 0: The server has been disconnected. You must reconnect to perform this operation.

Can someone help me why the jobs are failing? Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

  • No..That is the only message.

  • Try running the job step definition under SSMS manually and see if it gives you more detailed message.
