Perfmon Counter: User Connections

    for understanding and clarification, what is the difference between "SP_WHO2 ACTIVE" and perfmon counter "SQL SERVER:USER CONNECTIONS"

    i thought that the count will be same for both but not, can anybody please help me here.

    My understanding was that [sp_who2 'active'] only shows active (and not dormant) processes, including system ones. Whereas PerfMon UserConnections shows just that, user connections. Although im not 100% on how this is affected by connection pooling?
