    please recommend me a good sql 2005 book

    I need to learn indexs, querys and things like setting min & max db size and user securtiy

    I don't know abou tother people but I bought one of the MCTS SQL Server 2005 Implimentation and Maintenance Study Guides.  I'm not sure it really matters which one you buy.  I got the Sybex one and thought it was fairly well written.  There were some typoes here and there but over all an easy read for the type.  And it had alot of information.  Of course it assumes you know a reasonable amount about MS SQL to begin with.

    The MCTS is a good general book - be aware that it has a bunch of errata.

    I'm also fond of the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Unleashed book (published by SAMS) and Professional SQL Server 2004 Administration (published by WROX).

    There is huge number of SQL Server 2005 books printed to day, probably about 100. Come to any Barnes and Noble or Borders store and check some books, you will find what is best for your level, area of interest and budget.
