profile - NTUserName is blank

    Hi,

    I was tracing a VB application through the profile for monitoring the user access database.

    One thing I found that the NTUserName is blank for some users all time.

    Is this a normal thing or it is a hidden issue?

    Are your users connecting with sql server authentication or windows authentication?

    Try including the LoginName column with your trace to see if anything is returned there.

    We have the mixed authentication.

    In the tracing file, the LoginName is showing correctly with the application sql login.
