Hi all
Whilst in EE under v7.0 (SP1) I am getting a provider timeout when viewing rows from a view a analyst has created. Does anyone know where this timeout value is set? I know for a fact that it takes 1min (on avg) to run (via query analyser) but times out after 20secs in EE. For the life of me I cant find this provider? default
Also, under MSOLAP the view is used as a dimension for a large cube. I also get the timeout there. I edited the properties for the connection (under advanced tab) and set the timeout to be 2min, but it still times out before the query can return. Worse still, when processing the cube via the dimension editor it sends sqlserver to 100% cpu processor time and, even after killing the MSOLAP process.
