Recommendations for Monitoring tools

    Hello my fellow DBA's.

    I am looking to purchase a top notch SQL Server database monitoring tool(s).  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you and havea great day!

    What are you trying to monitor? Can you elaborate?

    The database in general.  Hit ratios, waits, poor running SQL etc...

    For hit ratios and wairts the Windows perfmon tool already exists. Poor running queries need SQL profiler. MOM will also handle these things. In either event you should check out:
