The table has no primary key defined I tried to make a cube out of this..But it doesnot worked...

Fact table must not have dimension is the error i got....SO i went on to split the table into two tables by making EMPCOde as primary key

    Factet Table

    --------------

    EMPcode

    Empname

    Department

    Dimension Table

    ---------------

    Empcode

    In

    out

    Actual In hrs

    Total Hrs

    Date

    Beer is my primary key...

  • Hi,

Without understanding your exact requirement, it would be difficult to help. How do you want your cube to look like? what do you want to analyze? what are the dimensions?

Be clear about your requirements first before starting with your design.

    Regards,

    Vijay.

    Warm Regards,
    Neel aka Vijay.
