  Hello All

  Currently the developers are logging into the box where the Reporting Service is configured. They invoke the Report Service URL and use the Report Builder icon to invoke Report Builder and design/develop the report/DataSource. If the access to the box would need to be restricted, how do we go about achieving it? Report builder may need to be installed at the Developer's computer but i am not sure how remote access can be allowed.

  Has anyone been in this type of situation earlier? If so how do we address this.

  Sounds like your first stop would be to read this section from BOL.

  It's the Managing Permissions and Security for Reporting Services section. It should give you a good basic Primer on what you need to do.
