Rename a file using File System Task

    Hi,

    I am trying to append the current date time to a file using the file system task.

    I am trying to use the 'rename file' operation for this.

    Cant really figure what should be the source and destination connection here.

    Do i have to use the expression to append the date time to the file?

    My purpose is to append the datetime and move the file a different folder.

    Can someone guide me here?

    You know, I've always been so displeased with the filesystem tasks I usually just bust out into script for these types of ops. It's so easy in .NET and you can look at it and tell what it's supposed to do.
